Hello wanted to see what the group thought about the Ranger?

Ford has a lease deal $198 a month for a 36 month lease. Nothing down.

XLT SuperCab, AUTO, AC, CD, 4x4, 4.0L V6?

Any bad things about Rangers?

I have worked for Ford for 3.5 years and the pickups are the strongest vehicals we have. The Ranger and the other pickups are the least of our problems, believe me! That sounds like a good deal.

I was amazed it rode and drove just like a car. The way the dealer made it sound was Ford it trying to get some Fords on the streets.

I was amazed at the power the V6 puts out. Though its still very quite, the entire truck rides like a car.

Plenty of Ford where I live. Some of them new Rangers came stock with a LSD. They are nice trucks.

I don't have an opnion... in fact, i don't even know what it is.

My opinion however... (sorry, had to be an arse) is that they are nice trucks... a buddy of mine has one and it drives a lot better than my roommate's F-150, although it is a good deal smaller.

I don't know that I'd ever want to lease one, but if you do, go for it!

We have 2 Rangers in our family, a 94 and 97. Absolutely NO problems with either one.

The only reason that the Rangers are so cheap s to help raise Fords Fleet mileage average. Ford sells so many F150s and Other trucks/SUVS that they need to keep their fleet mileage at a level low enough as to not warrant fines.

This was my understanding anyway. 198 a month is a pretty good deal, however later on in the spring you might see some even better deals, (I've seen 150 and even 99 a month, with a nice amount of $ down anway)
