i will admit that as an eagles fan, nothing the skins have done in the last 10 years has scared me as much as Gibbs. I may only be 19 but i remember gibbs. The dude is incredible. No one can front on his abbility to make [censored] turn to gold. But he (gibbs) is right, it will take 5 years to make the skins great. Gibbs already brought back whats-his-face for offensive cordinator and then he hired that other guy for defensive, yea i forgot their names but the point is they are both forces NOT to [censored] with.
I hope the ealges win the superbowl this year or next year cuz after that the redskins will be contenders i beleive.

At his press conference, he said he wasn't putting any time tables on this team. So I don't know where you got 5 years from.

You speak of the will to play. Did you know hald of his old team showed up at the park when they heard he was coming back. He is beloved by all. You'll see more pep in this teams step next year more than ever. He runs a tight ship but if you listen to him he will make you a winner. He knows how to handle players and knows how to call and offense. Free agents around the league have just moved the skins near the top of their lists because they know he is a winner, similar to Bill Parcels if not more. If you think he doesn't motivate and excite everyone, just go to any sports bar in DC and listen to skins fans excitement at his return. I bet Champ is signed long before the mini camps begin. BTW have you seen what he's done in NASCAR? You really don't know what you are talkin about.

ever since the redskins were sold and snyder took over, he thought he could win with money, he bought overpayed talent, the skins have good talent, but no heart, the coaches arent left there long enough to try and change anything. I have been a redskins fan since birth i swear,and this is by far the greatest thing that could have happened, the guy knows how to coach and he knows how to get things accomplished, walking into NASCAR and creating a whole team that did extremely well. I would have to think by this point in his coaching career it cant be about money to him, i hope not, but I think snyder has to give Gibbs at least 3 years, i beleive he got a 5yr contract so at least thats good.
