I've decided to go with Sirius instead of XM now but I don't know the quality of their decks that are Sirius-ready. These are the brands that make decks for them. Is one brand clearly better than another? Thanks.

Out of the 3 posted brands I see clarion break down the most and kenwood the least. Overall customer satisfaction I see kenwood customers happiest and Panasonic customers are right up there.
I work for a large consumer electronics company and am basing this on customer returns, exchanges and overall satisfaction.
Goodluck!

Go with XM alot better!!!
Then you can get a alpine deck or Pioneer..
Of the ones you stated though, clarion Pro audio series or the Kenwoods would be the way to go.. Clarion has problems with there eject systems sometimes though

I wouldn't hesitate to get any of them. I probably wouldn't choose the Panasonic touch-screen models. If it were Kenwood, I'd choose something out of their eXcelon series. If Clarion, their Pro Audio series is very nice.
BTW, asking the question of what's the best HU out of respectable brands is likely to have a different answer with each reply. I'd choose the one you like the features and asthetics the best.

I have a Clarion Pro Audio and i'm very pleased with it. it's Sirius ready but I don't have the tuner or service for it so I can't comment on that part.

clarion by far. i've heard way more complaints about panasonic and kenwood decks. i think clarion is seriously the only reliable brand of the 3. i would reconsider xm. go with alpine man

I bought my brother XM radio for his big-rig and I had it for a month or so, so I am familiar with what they have; then I've been spending time on Sirius' web-site where they let you listen to the channels and the music content is alot better. More indie stuff, and much broader music styles. Plus, better Techno.

I plan to. I just wanted to get a broad feel of what I am looking at or if there was any reason to throw out a brand entirely.
