I am trying to find some Silverstar 885s to replace my standard 893 Sylvania bulbs but haven't had much luck finding them online. If they are out there, could you please tell me where and if not, maybe offer a good alternative to compliment my 9005 Silverstars in my lows.
Thanks.

Not listed. I guess maybe I should just get the 893 Sliverstars then unless anyone has a better idea.

I cant find them in any retail stores. You will need to go to a place like autobarn.com to get them. I think they are $21.95 a piece there.

Maybe you can give/sell your 9006's to a family member or friend because your really going to want to install the 9005's (highs) in the lows, trust ALL of us The mod is very easy and produces the extra 9w of power that REALLY makes the difference! As far as the SS 885's, they're not out, yet.

Stupid question... are you saying put 9005's in both highs AND lows? I've been meaning to do a search on this, but since this thread is already here...

YES, put them in both high and low. The 9005's have slightly more wattage and they dont have the little shield on the top of the bulb which = more light. Propably some glare for your oncoming car, but noone has said they've been flashed because of it so it probably is negligable.
You need to file the rib of the 9005 and it will fit in the low beam.

Thanks for clearing that up! As long as nobody has had any problems of getting flashed by oncoming cars, I'm gonna do this soon. I'm amazed at how dim the stock bulbs are.
