If it is under warranty take it to Ford and they will replace it. I have done so twice.

That is the hose that goes to the IAC. Look at the picture again. Just past the flying saucer lookin' EGR valve you will see a bolt in the Upper Intake Manifold. That is the upper bolt that holds the IAC valve in place. You can see the silver cylinder with the wires plugged into it right above where the guy is pointing, that is the body of the IAC.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Excellent, Thanks Any special care that needs to be taken when cleaning it? Originally posted by TourDeForce: That is the hose that goes to the IAC. Look at the picture again. When I cleaned mine 6 months ago, I used TB cleaner. After that was dry, I sprayed some silicone lubricant into it & let that dry. Everything is working just fine.
You will want to have a gasket handy to replace the old one which will likely come off in pieces - might cost you $2. While you're at it, I STRONGLY recommend you perform a TB cleaning if you have not already done that. Pretty easy & will take an extra hour or so. You might also need a TB gasket if you clean the TB, $4 from the dealer.
Enjoy!
