That part number is the entire assembly. Sending unit, pump, case, etc.
You pull the old one out and put the new one in.

So does this FSVT fuel pump swap need to be rigged somehow or is installation easy? Is there a FAQ or guide somewhere that can lead me through it?

I've noticed my car won't always start if I hop in and turn the key. It cranks fine but won't fire. I have to turn the key on, wait until the fuel pump runs a second, then start it.
Probably a sign of a weak fuel pump.

No. The sign of a leaking fuel system. Extended fuel priming time.
First place I would check is the fuel rail, FPR, and injectors.

This is the correct info with the exception of the plug-n-play comment as the Focus basket, wiring, etc. will not fit our tank access hole. The basket uses a different "twist and lock" mechanism than the stock Tour...
The nice thing is that the actual pump fits perfect in our basket with no mods whatsoever...just ditch the screens, and place the new pump in and viola'!
I've been using it in my turboed CSVT for the last few thousand miles with no porblems....knock on wood!

Would be nice if someone did a How-to on this w/ pics. I've never messed w/ my fuel pump before, but for that price, it's well worth knowing.
