some jerk threw a flower basket out his/her balcony or window and hit my car. Now I have a major dent in my hood and basically the square imprint of the basket in my hood. :rolleyes: Now what do I do? I know I gotta call my insurance...but I've got a 500 dollar deductible and I'm pretty sure I don't have that right now. Maybe I can find a shady body shop that'll do a bare minimum fix on it. I gotta get outta this college town: Boston

just drive to a private area were nobody will see you and get a baseball bat or something "and as much as it hurts me to say" start knocking the he!! out of it till you think you have your $500 dollar deductible.

okay.. let's look at this the LOGICAL way...
Have you tried talking to the lady, and showing her the damage she has caused? Perhaps she isn't aware of the damage...
Ask her to pay for the damages privately, and you may be surprised. If she refuses, and won't budge, then you have something to go to the police with. Their mere presence on a doorstep will most times turn the "hardest" of people around.. Try those things, rather than risk more damage, and the possiblilty of not getting ANYTHING covered... Besides... .who wants to HURT their car MORE.. when it WASN'T their fault?

A hood is only 200-250 bucks. The painting won't be that exspensive.
