I just had a thought about clear tail lights. I was reading this website Tech TV Article And it talks about making a portable playstation. Ok so there already are screens for the small playstation but.... anyhow it talks about making the case. THe guy did it vacuum form plastic method. Can this be done to make clear tail lights or head lights, if we can get clear plastic of course.

Just a thought. Comments anyone????

If i don't make any sense its because its late, im on vacation from school and can barely remember what day it is. so

in my opinion the clear taillights are starting to look ugly. most people that i know that have them took them off and put the factory ones, newer year style or jdm (most of my friends drive imports. pesonally i like my 98 tail lights as they are. ive seen the tinted ones and they look cool i think it would be cool if the center light actually worked instead of having the lights on the spoiler.like how the last year mark viii had a full lenght tail light i think it was a neon brake. frpm what i read the last year mark viii came with neon tail lighst and hid's .

It's okay, Rob...remember that it's easier to tame down a wild idea, than to breathe life into a dead one!

I deal with many polyurethane products at my work, and the molds we make are with the vaccum plastic - that plastic is the consistency of a soda bottle. Way too thin and bendy for that application - If you want non breakable tail lights you could do it with this material. - JOE
