Only a driver, not a mechanic, are these good numbers for original parts before replacing them...

front rotors and pads - 106,500 km
rears - 127,000 km

That's pretty good...you must do a lot of highway driving. Did roughly the same mileage on a set of brakes on the Intrepidous.

My rear drums will need replacing this year with over 130K's on them.

Front brakes...went through my first ones at 60K. Replacement Ford ones are actually holding up longer than that

Rear brakes will end up with a lot more km's than original post, just pulled them off & still have approx. 20% of material remaining.

Of course, my wife drives the car, lots of it on the highway, however her stopping procedures are done 2 ways...

i) coast to a stop.
ii)hit something

Neither require much braking power.
