Just to let you know, it's sometimes hard to get people to do this plus you being a newbie with only 3 posts makes it a little more difficult also. I would just look out for free carfax promotions going on or just bite the big one and pay for it.

Couldn't hurt to try....I would do it for people if I had the subscription. I print stuff off of Consumer Reports website that I subscribe to for people all the time. Whats the big deal.

the big deal is that it only costs 20 to get unlimited reports. If you are seriously car shopping, then that is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

hmmm, they must have raised the prices since I last had a subscription, it used to be $15 for one, and $20 for unlimited. Inflation!

I agree with your statement. The carfax was not for me but a friend. Once again, I felt it couldn't hurt to try.
