The clutch went in my 98 mystique 2.5 slightly modified at 150 000km. So i had it replaced with a oem replacement new not rebuilt. Now my clutch is really soft with the contact only at the top of the pedal. Could this be air in the system? Poor instalation? Manufacturers defect? I have put about 10 000km on the new clutch and feels no better now that it is broken in.

Thanx. I don't know if this is true but he said that it is done by bleeding the brakes. Because they share the same master or is it done differently?

Its bled diferently. The Brake Master cyclinder and the clutch are the same , but on the top of the trans is a bleeding nipple. The principal is the same, pump , pump , hold , bleed . Made a big difference on my '95
