Hey everyone I havent been on this site a year. but now im ready to start working on my car more.... I was thinking about ordering a venom kit for my car im getting a great deal on it, but what would be some of the things you would suggest I should do to get my car ready for this kit? I have a 99 SVT stock except a K&N air filter. And if anyone knows someone who will install this kit for me at a good price, I would greatly appreciate it.

Well for starters, you're going to need a custom chip burned. You'll also wish you had a Quaife LSD for peace of mind and a high performance clutch. A free(er) flowing exhaust would really help, and you'll want to get an open element air filter instead of the K&N drop in. Other than that, you may want to invest in some descent tires because even hitting it in 2nd gear is going to cause you some traction issues.

Where are you getting a deal on the VCN2000 kit? Is it a used kit, and if so, who is it from? There was a kit going around a while back that people were having problems with(ie: missing parts, crushed nitrous lines) so I hope you don't end up with that kit. If through a supplier, where is it and how much are you paying?

well im buying it from an individual for about 200+shipping. When i asked him he said everything i need would be included. It is a used kit. kinda too late if it is the messed up kit I already sent the money order saturday.

Ahhh, well good luck on that. Is it the VCN1000 or VCN2000? Even for $200.00 you can't really go wrong.
