I dynoed 165/154 a few months ago and wanted to increase hp and tq by 15-20 at the wheels. i know i need to open up my intake, and MSDS will be recommened but is it worth the $500+ ? How about porting the UIM/LIM? would i gain good results by this and would it be costly.

I have a company car that I drive daily so i would like to make this car a lot more fun to drive on the weekends.

it's gonna be hard to get torque up that much, maybe even hp (without spending bookoo bux). try the intake made on NECO, i think gmk? in carbon fiber of course, optimized tb, intake pipe, custom chip(after finished with everything of course). what kind of mufflers are you rocking? 2.75" inch pipe might be kind of hurting you actually....ummm, headers are worth the money from what everybody here says. Once you do all of these, maybe 175-180 fwhp.....for the cost of all of this, get a 3L built= ~200fwhp/tq. and you can keep your 2.75" exhaust with the 3L. porting the intakes is god for a little punch, but the $$ outweighs the benefits by far. If you have doubts, look at Demonsvt's web page and all the things he has done to his engine and his hp/tq. Unless you do all of this precisely and accurately, it's going to be a little difficult to reach these #s.

thanks.. i had my exhaust made but i haven't got around to installing it yet.. i have the y-pipe and rear section installed but not the rest of the pipeing.. i new it would hurt me so thats why it's not installed. I will be running around a 75 shot on top of it.. i might just do intake and the rest of my exhaust maybe headers.. some weight reduction and call it a day.. any guesses whay i would trap with a 75 shot and bolt ons? I would love to trap around 103-105 on n20... is this possible?

maybe if you use the 2.75" piping while using the N2o, it would be good. I don't know the answers or estimates to any of the other questions though, maybe someone else will help out.
