What can be used to replace the two stock mufflers in the rear? I want to use Magnaflow, but don't know what size to get. And what kind of tips does magnaflow sell, that look close to stock? I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

I don't have dual exhaust but I changed mine over and used a hooker aero chamber, lots of flow but not lots of noise.

Why? Did you want more sound? If you're after power, the stock mufflers might not be the most restrictive part of your system.

Replace the resonator with a straight through design.

Full body if noise is a concern. A bullet if it is not.

The rear mufflers should be replaced with Magnaflow part number #11124

The mufflers give a nice deep tone though they can be a bit "boomy" if you have no cats.

Thanks. I installed the BAT y-pipe with a high flow cat and a magnaflow 10425 high flow resinator. I wanted to replace the 2 mufflers in the back with Magnaflows. That part number you gave me allows for what kind of tips? Can i match a set of Magnaflow tips out that back that don't look like fart cannons? What do you recommend?

Any tips you want.

You will need to fabricate your own hangers as the stock muffler, hanger and tip is basically welded as one.

DemonSVT,

What is your recommendation for a 3L modded SVT that already has MSDS headers and Y-pipe, but stock from there back? Minimum noise for a daily driver.

Current plan: Take cat out, and go 2.75" to Maganaflow straight resonator. Stock from there back.
