I installed everything and the lights won't turn on for me. I had new 20amp fuses installed also.
Someone told me about reverse polarity or somehting when installing the McColloch HIDs or something like that.

Anyone know what to do?
Bulbs look fine BTW.

Thanks,
Bernie

Bernie if they are polarized and you instaleld them reversed then they won't work, have you tried switching them?

I had to do nothing more than up the put a 15 amp fuse in the left and right headlight socket. Mine turned on for a second before they blew the fuse. I didn't reverse any polarization or anything.

Mine are a standard Hella ballast from a 9005 kit, I'm guessing its pretty standard between ballasts? Did you just plug everything in to the appropriate sockets on the bulb? Is the ballast grounded properly?

Drop me a PM, hopefully we can get them blinging! You'll need when you get them plugged in!

i tried just about every combo i could think of.
i broke down and ordered some new mccolloch bulbs for 175 shipped for the pair. I couldn't beat that so i did it after someone suggested that the bulbs i have "look" bad.
anyway, i appreciate all the help.
i'm going to mess with them some more in a bit and i will let ya'll know.

Thanks,
Bernie
