Will Svt Rods work on a 3.0? And are they worth putting on? Are 3.0 rods better? Which will hold the most hp/tq #'s and where is the point of custom rods a must?

Done some search never really got that question answered. I got hints of an answer and ideas of that I should do it anyway. But I am trying to see how much psi they will hold (safely and total).

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Oh, I completely agree. There is no way they will hold that much. When I posted the 9:1 CR ratio. I just assumed you knew that they were going to be custom pistons.

Anyone with Turbo knowledge care to jump in here??

Tom is running around 330-350FWHP on his 3L. All stock bottom end.

The rods have survived 10k+ of daily driving with an 8100rpm redline and hitting the rev limiter 1000+ times.

Don't worry about the rods.

Now the rod bearings and oiling issues are a completely different animal though... Those MUST be addressed!
