Hello,
I was wondering who had installed 8" Mid basses in the front doors, and if they ran into any problems. I was also wondering how difficult it would be to install midranges in the kickpanels.

FYI I just picked up a pair of Orion XTR 8 MB Midbasses. Should should work with minimal modification. (2-3/4" depth)
I'm currently running Lanzar 5-1/4 mids, and tweets with an MB Quart X-over.
I have some MB Quart 3-way passive Crossovers that have been sittin just waitin to be used. =0)

I'm hoping it will give me enough bass up front so I can build a lighter, smaller box for the trunk.(currently running 3-JL Audio 10W6's in the trunk.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Bito

I don't remember who it was anymore, but someone mentioned awhile back about fitting some 8" midbase speakers in the rear door panels with minimal cutting. This in addition to coaxials in the rear deck and a good set of components up front made for great imaging....
