I was wondering how much a 10 yr, 100k mile warranty would cost? I need to know if it would be worth my while to purchase one because I am starting to have some tranny problems.

I have no idea..I dont think they have that big of a Warrenty

Sorry - not trying to steal your post...but I've been thinking about that too. I've had my 2000 Contour SE Sport for almost 2 months now, bought from a dealership. My car did come with a 2 year / 24,000 mile warranty, but my car will be financed for 60 months, and I worry about when my warranty expires. I'd like to have something to cover me until I pay off this car.

Any ideas of the kinds of warranties you can get? Nothing major, like 10 yr/100,000. Just wondering.
