Ok im tired of advertising the fact that my car is a SVT so im removing my white decals from the rear doors. I tried just a little bit with my fingernail but it didnt give much, its been on for about a year. Before I really try anything, i wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions for removing decalse, and also for cleaning/covering up any marks left behind. Secondly, My car was recently damaged in a hit and run in front of my house, when I had the doors replaced I had them leave off the door dings on the new doors and they also removed the other door dingd. The other side has the unsightly fade/clearcoat spots. any suggestions on polishes or waxes to remedy this until i can get it painted over in the spring? Thanks!

Clay bar may remove the door ding marks (didn't on my car, though mine are really bad). Buffing would be the next step... As far as the decals, I know to use a razor on glass, but I think that's a bad idea with painted surface unless you're real careful. Maybe heating them up would help, then goo-gone or something to remove what's left and then wash the car.

do this, take masking tape and tape around the emblem, take a screwdriver and pry it off, then do the goo gone etc then wax it to get the spot out. by using masking tape you cant scratch your paint, i've done this numerous times and it always works

NO!, don't do that Try GooGone and let it sit on there for awhile, then use a hairdryer to heat it up, it should just peel right off ..screwdriver that close to the paint, come on

goo gone or similar stuff will help too. keep soaking it and a hair dryer will help heat and soften the glue too. if its a vinyl sticker, u can VERY CAREFULLY use a razor just to help lift the corner to start to pull on, like removing window tint.
