This just started the other day it's like a ground is loose or something. Sometimes i'll get in the car and the radio/CD will work but if I hit a bump or turn sharp it sounds like it mutes itself but the cd is still spinning. Has anyone had this problem before.

Check your speaker wiring and harness. If this is an aftermarket setup, check to see where the electical tape might have come off or not taped right.

Yeah, check connections, my brother wired my stuff up, and my driver's side front speaker wasn't working for about the past 2 weeks but it's working now,,, I'm lazy and don't wanna get in there to connect it right, so I hope it keeps working for a while.

i used to have an aftermarket receiver from blaupunkt that did this. It would happen randomly all the time, but usually when i came in contact with the faceplate, i have no idea why. I would reach to turn up the volume and the whole unit would power down for about a minute, then came back on. Never figured out why this was happening, just replaced it with a panasonic. It was wierd cuz it would completely power off and you could see the power antenna go down, then back up again.
