OP brainiac CEG\'er B Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 53 California	1st of all thanks to everybody for your help in the past and happy holidays. Now then I've got an error code 420 catt eff 1. I swapped the rear o2 sensors, cleared the error code and await the return of the same code before I bring my car into the dealer for a new catt.(my car is a 2k w/less than 80k). I'm wondering though if I should also swap the front o2s.

P0420 and P0430 codes are not due to the O2 sensors. They indicate that the cats are unable to perform as they should. OP brainiac CEG\'er B Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 53 California	I guess I wasn't clear. I want to see if the error code changes by moving the sensors to opposite banks. I'm waiting now for the cel to come back on. If I get p0420 again I'll give Ford a call.

You had better read your warranty booklet as it has completely different warranty terms for owners in California as compared to the rest of the US. You won't like the differences.
