I'd stay away from RF head units, although I haven't had any actual experience with them. RF contracts out a Jap. company to build them to their specs, they aren't actually made by them. From what I hear the quality and features just aren't as good as other compairable companies. All the rest of their stuff is still made in the us (i think), I'm running a pair of RF amps (punch 600a4 and ppower 250.2), and they sound fine, so I'd say their more powerful amps are fine.
