Thanks - I agree that is what I need to do.
BTW, I have the Sony 7050 box, but not the keys - I'll tell them when I go back Wednesday (they are redoing the work and agreed that they were supposed to bypass the amp). I also need to have them move the amp to the top of the box, and they did not give me any warrantee, manual, or box for the amp (I wonder if it was a display model).

the warranty and papers should have been kept regardless. if not, they should give you the number or address to write to sony for the paperwork.
