I thought that the new engine was an LS6? Am I wrong on this one?

Warmonger...Was the post with your times with your windows down in the 1/4 related to mine? Just curious....because I have a convertible....and the windows and top were down!
It was. I suppose your top down is worth a few more MPH, especially since I think the contour is more aerodynamic anyway.
Of course, if your car is yellow then it wouldn't matter a bit...like ATL-SVT(SRT)'s is!

No, I mainly put them up because I thought it would be good support for your statement about wind resistance since I did three pretty consistent runs to test it out. I don't think the windows become much of an issue though unless you're starting to trapp speeds of high 90's+ since wind resistance is exponential.

I figured out two ways to lose... 1). Have my S/C fail before I even race him. 2). Have the local CEG Thread Terrorists Hijack my thread and ramble on about F-Body Mullets!

No, actually F-Bodies (TA's and Camaros) are called Mullets. Just a slang term for them using a common stereotype. Still a fast car and one that commands respect... Hasn't looked good since the 60's but who is counting for style?

Equal driving skill he would take you because of the launching, imo.
OH, did someone say something about racing an LS1? I accept any challenges, supercharged, turbocharged, supra...whatever you like!
Any challenges???? how about a 69 Mustang Mach1 ?
My main car (1969 Mustang Mach1)
Second car (1993 Probe GT 2.5 5spd) needs a crank due to oil starvation, and water pump failure.
Third car (1998 Contour SE 2.5 ATX) runs purrrrrrrfect. Trying to get rid of speed limiter currently.

Ah...you like the old body styles. Well....I do too...however...you don't think this car looks good? I'm sure you like that 69 Impala SS 427 in the background though!
