'66 Chevy Biscayne. Bought it in 1988 with lawn cutting money.

Neat. I had an 82 Chevy SWB truck myself, but I gutted that nasty 305 with the spagetti vacumn hoses and dropped a small-block 400 in her. Had it lowered a touch and and air shocks on it. Took about 4 bales of hay in the back to keep the rear-end planted when doing brake-stand launches; it had torque like mad with the 400, in addition to the dreaded saddle tanks, speaking of which I can't count the number of switches I replaced due to an electrical gremlin that kept frying them out.
Too bad I totalled it into a telephone pole only after a year.
The replacement for that it was a '91 Honda Accord SE-i, loaded. If I was smart, I would have kept that car to this day, as all I ever replaced on it was oil, plugs, filters and a distributor cap.

74 Ford Ranchero 500. That thing was a tank. It had a POS 302 with Hooker headers and glasspacks. It sounded pretty good. People would always ask me if it had a 500 in it because it said 500 on the side.

There are three ways to do things: the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!
Isn't that just the wrong way?
Yeah, but faster!

1. 1984 Toyota Corona CS-X. 2.0L of carburetted power (was at least rear drive!) with 127000km. I got it up to 160kkm and it was going fine. Was my parents car, so the price was right. Got it for my 18th birthday. Cruise control, velour seats, metallic blue paint. Loved it. My sister eventually inherited it and killed it through neglect.
2. 1997 Ford Mondeo LX - For my 21st birthday (sense a recurring theme here?), bought it with just 10000km on it. Silver, but sold it after 3 years as my family had "too many" (as if there's such a thing) cars.
3. Ford Cougar 1999 - Bright red. Was Mum's car, but she got a 3-series BM.b Now dad drives it (and loves it). His mid-life crisis car. I only drove it for about 6 months.
4. ST24 mondeo, also in silver. The car i really wanted as no.2 in this list, but they were'nt out in Oz then, and i couldn;t have afforded one at the time (student days). Got one eventually though!
gee, i must like the duratec V6!
