Oh I almost forgot, The dip **** only sent me to screws for connecting the couplings together, can I use the stock screws or should I go out and buy the same type of screws he sent with locking nuts?

I believe the stock screws will work- and by no means did you pi$$ me off. sorry- i was prolly edgy from my kid- I understand you pain there- green lights and all the cables- my 11 month boy goes for them everytime. Oh and my cordless mouse- he loves grabbin that from me and chewin on it- all this money i spend on his toys and he just wants to play with mine! I hope all works out on your filter- i would check into a new filter at orieley's before spendin the money at walmart for something to patch with- might as well just get a new one. or just patch it- I just hate going into wally world.

That hole is for the IAT sensor. Since you have a non-SVT, that's where you put that little sensor that is on your stock airbox. And reuse the old bolts. It doesn't look like you got ripped off at all.

You got ripped man. I sold my KKM like new and I clean and re-oiled it for $70. I used it one year. I would send that thing back.

Or $0.03 worth of duct tape! Personally I did what Chris said and plugged it with my IAT sensor.

why not read the directions from www.ctamotorsports.com then you will see why there is a hole there. it does serve a purpose.

OK I read the directions and looked at my cars filter box and I see why the hole is there but why do some people have to be stupid and just cut the hole instead of drilling it.

The filter has the hole but the hole is torn, will this effect the performance, it will close together but it is torn in two directions.

How much would a new filter cost, seeing how this is the main component of the kit I think it would be expensive. The reason I bought this was because It was supposed to give greater gains than the k&n, but if they are the same I can pick up a new filter if they make one, and does anyone make a filter that the IAT will plug in?
