Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums Modifications Audio Part #s for amp bypass plug?

I just got a new Pioneer DEH-P3100(didnt need the remote of the 4100) stereo for my wife and need to bypass the amp on the so called "Premium Sound" system..
I dont want to go thru Crutchfiled does Scosche make anything like that?

Ok I got the numbers, the wiring for factory deck, Power, lighting, ground etc. is # FDK-10 from Scosche and the by pass plug is part # FDK 8. These are available from WalMart.

Metra makes a by-pass harness for the Ford "Premium" amp - METRA #70-5513. Costs about $19.00. Check your connectors with that on the Metra before you buy. I've heard that this harness does not work on all years of Contique.

Walmart here in Syracuse, NY did not have the FDK-8, but did have the FDK-10. BTW, the FDK-10 had 3 harnesses - the two that I expected (1x7 or 8 connections and a 4x2 harness) and another one that was I think 4x2 - ????.
