Does the CSVT have one muffler or two. I am looking at getting some custom exhaust work done, and the shop I am dealing with mostly does American V-8 work.

I believe the system comes out of the main cat into the resonator, and then into either one or two mufflers before exiting the car.

Please advise.

This is how the CSVT exhaust is setup, from the heads down.

First, right off the exhaust collectors (headers)are two cats, one off each side of the engine, then those collect into the Y-pipe, and after that they connect to the main cat back a little further to the resonater, and finally splitting into two 2" pipes that lead to two exhaust silencers. they are so small that they're not really mufflers.
