I just got the BAT y-pipe the other day and when I got under my car, the existing catalytic convertor doesn't have an O2 Sensor, while BAT has a bung for a sensor. I'm thinking of just having an exhaust shop do it but I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem. Also does a hanger need to be made for the y-pipe since the stock one has a hanger.

I have the the bat y-pipe. Take the o2 sensor from the manifold pipe (rear sensor it's on the pipe coming from the exhuast manifold closest to the fire wall)put never sieze on the threads and install on the new converter. You do not need hangers, when it goes together you will see what i mean. I have had mine on for awhile without any problems. I had the system welded instead of using the clamps. It gives a better seal and looks much better.

Thanks for the info. Also, I was wondering if the new cat will fix my CEL that has been on for a while that supposedly is linked to a bad catalytic convertor. Could this be the O2 sensor itself or something else. Anybody got any thoughts?
