When I got home from work this evening, I got out of my car, and noticed that the dome light did not come on. I opened all the other doors, and the dome light came on, but when the drivers side door is open, it will not.

I know this isn't a huge problem, but I do like having the light on when I get in/out at night. Especially because I get out of work at 10:00 p.m.

Any ideas as to what may cause it not to work on one door? Any suggestions/ideas are greatly appreciated!

Check the switch for the driver's door, it might just be stuck. If not, it shouldn't be very hard to replace. It's a pushbutton on the door jamb near the hinges.

Yeah I hear that problem! The dome light doesnt come on for either of my front doors. I think someone said to take the button apart and see if the connection is corroded.

Thanks I'll be sure to look tomorrow morning. Sounds like it could be stuck...since it's only the one door.

Some odd reason the light is only activated by my 2 front doors, my switches are fine in front, but id like to have some in the back, wonder if thats easily possible....
