Does anyone have any suggestions on maintenance items for a 99 contour with a 100,000 miles. Belts, sensors, ect. I read somewhere that there was a sensor which controlled the crank positioning and it soon goes bad after a 100,000 miles. Since I have forgotten the name and would like to know of any other known gremlins with these cars. Thanks,

Just do whatever your suppoused to keep doing, oil every 3000, coolant every 24000 etc. Also I would look into your timing belt if that hasnt been replaced ever then it it 40000 overdue, and if it brakes while driving, well lets just say I can give you the name of a company that does a really good job rebuilding engines.
