So I'm right in the middle of the UIM & LIM removal and I run across the "spring locks" on the fuel lines. I really didn't look at the manual much before starting this project because the Intake rebuild How-to document was so thorough. Is there any way to disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel rail without the spring lock coupling disconnect tool the manual refers to?

I'm hoping I don't have to go to the auto parts store but ... .

Any other method is likely to damage it.

I think I know what your talking about (they connect onto a pipe that connects the fuel injectors right?) If that is it, and they wont come off without a tool, they wont come off... I just moved it out of the way, if im wrong, ignore this post
