New to NY/NJ area. Looking for a local garage which is good with diagnostics, particularly for SVTs. Live in NYC, but willing to travel to NJ or Long Island if need be.

i don't know of many garages that are very knowledgeable about our cars. The best dealer I've dealt with was Down's ford, in tom's river NJ. It's about an hour's drive from me, and I live in SI.

1999 Silver Frost SVT #609 of 2760 Quaife, lightened SVT Flywheel, SPEC stage II clutch, removed resonator, k&n drop in - various other goodies too.

Nex-Tek Auto in Elmsford, NY. It's in Westchester next to White Plains. There are really good. I brought my car there a few times after the dealers couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car. And Nex-Tec did.
