I sneak it out once and a while...turn the traction control off and find a wet spot in the road and see if I can spin the 16" Michelin Sports

Scott,
You have traction control?

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I think he meant on the Hyundai. His SVT has 17s on it.

You are correct...plus I don't need wet road to spin the tires in the Contour

i miss my mystique but i did get a very very nice replacement and its faster and easier to work on then my old car..i got a 99 f150 v6 5spd reg cab...that thing does pretty well for a truck...i have a long long list of want to mods...but so far jus limo tint, head unit, and vent visors, tail light covers, homemade intake(its only been a day)i'll stick around a post occasionally, I'll comeback to see if there are any "drag days" at the "track" so i can beat some of ya.

My son just got a 2002 F150 XLT Supercrew...Black w/Silver bottom. Resembles the Harley truck, 5.4L but no super charger. It has lots of potential for performance and aesthetics mods. Now he just needs a job to cover his wants...20"-22" wheels, billet grill, exhaust, intake, 4"/6" drop just to get started

Like father like son

I was riding to Taco Bell the other night...I think it was Thursday night. I noticed this horride knocking noise coming from the front of my car. I couldnt understand why but when I pulled into the empty Hardees parking lot....I prepared to jack the car up...when I was lifting the car I realized that I should break the lug nuts first....sense it would be easier when the tire is on the ground and not in the Air. When I say the greatest site in the world.....the only thing holding on my 18 inch babies was one lug nut !@! the tire was knocking back and forth. so I took a lug from each of the tires in the back to put 2 more up front....yeah tel me why the first spot I start to try to screw in the lug nut the post isnt there.....Yeah WTF I had to 2 posts break off. only 2 lugs on the sameside and on a four lug rim....brews trouble....expensive trouble. I got it fixed but I had to put my 2 stock tires up front cuz no where sells the lug nuts I need. So I will look like a fool untill the new lug nuts come in. And thats how my weekend started !
