I need help getting my trunk open the button does not work you can hear the motor running but nothing happens the key and the indise leave does not do anything either i was wondering if anyone knows another was into the trunk or how to fix it

You should be able to turn the key and pull up on the trunk.

If not...get a sawzall..or call a locksmith! LoL

As stated above, open your trunk using the key. Ya know, the old fashion way. But after you get it open, look at the lock located in the trunk. You will see to Torx head bolts on each side of it. You can loosen these bolts and adjust it up or down. I suggest loosening the bolts and slide the lock assy up, just a little, and tighten the bolts back. Close the trunk and try the button. You should be able to just walk up to it and open it with no force. If you feel that it is still catching a little, adjust it up just a little more and try again.

I take it you don't have fold down rear seats.

Can the seat back be removed from the passenger compartment I wonder...?

I believe he stated that the key didn't do anything, and if it's anything like my car the seat-back releases are in the trunk.
