Hey all, I am contemplating selling or trading in the SE very soon, to be replaced with another vehicle (no, not another project car.
) In the event this happens I may part out the car prior to, or just let it go with all that is in it. The only parts that I can think of, that could be taken off relatively easily are:
1. SVT upper intake with TB and bracket (would require a complete upper to swap.
2. CTA aluminum intake pipe and filter induction kit.
3. Magnecor wires
4. Unorthodox underdrive pulley
5. Superchip.
6. CTA dual exhaust system (would require a stock exhaust to swap)
7. Focus SVT 17" wheels and tires.
8. SVT Contour 16" wheels with snow tires (would require a set of wheels 15's or 16's to swap)
Now depending on how much I can get as a trade, I may part out the car or not. If I don't get enough, I will part out the car. As another alernative, I find a buyer to just buy the car as it stands, everything in it but the subwoofer, amp and RCA cables.
I will know sometime this week if I can get this other car or not, and by the way, it's not for me, it's for my wife.
Not a chance. Actually, I'm looking at getting a used Maxima, as my wife has been calling my SE a "second class" vehicle since I first handed her the keys. Feelings aside, I am basically taking the stand that F..k her, but hey that's my battle. All she does is put gas in it, and that's it. I pay the rest.
That assumes you don't sell her as a whole unit. Go for it Cobber you know you want another.
