I remember seeing somewhere that the SHOSHOP was not sending out any parts for anyone, does anyone know if they are back to good again or if they are still not doing contours and shos anymore, and if not where would I go about getting a y pipe with no cats, I live in Iowa so we have no emmisions test or inspections. Thanks

I haven't seen anything recently over at SHOforum about them either. I did get an email from Joe (at SP Motorsports) about 2 weeks ago, saying that someone ordered a Y-pipe a while back, and it showed up at their doorstep. Its return address was EVOsport. I've also heard they have UDP pullies for SHOs in stock. So, I have no Idea. If you really want to know, I'd call EVOsport and ask WTF....

Is the BAT y-pipe comparable? I need one with good gains and no cat.

i honestly felt little gains from the ypipe. keyword "felt" i never took it to a dyno before or after and i havent taken my car to the track with the current mods i have now so i dont actually have facts about the gains from it. someone on here said a catback and y-pipe get better gains together.

I think you'd be better off getting your stock y-pipe optimized and getting a hi flow cat or just having a straight pipe made to replace your cat. Would be cheaper in the long run and from what a lot of people on here have said it seems the optimized stock y-pipe gets comparable or better gains than the aftermarket ones. There's a how-to floating around somewhere for optimizing the y-pipe. If you can't get a muffler place to do it because of emissions laws take it off and tkae it to a regular weld shop. Shouldn't cost more that 80 dollars from what others have said.

something i've noticed about shoshop here in socal when i go there...as far as i remember, the front says pretty much nothing about shoshop...it say evosport, but i haven't been there in a few months
maybe they are migrating to a new business, and dropping the contour/taurus thing, which would be understandable considering the sho and svt contour are out of production
