OP 2svts CEG\'er 2 Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 90 Iowa	I am pulling my motor to fix my tranny and do some other goodies, I was wondering if anyone had a how to on pulling the motor, or if anyone can give me some tips on what to or what not to do when pulling the motor. Thanks Still workin on her!!!!!!!

I know it sounds like a stupid question and it is not like I have never pulled a motor before just wanted to know if there were any precautions people would recommend like pulling the fenders and bumber or anything like that? Collins, CO/ Albuq., NM th...	head over to fordcontour.org and check out their 3L swap, it tells you how to pull the engine at least, I'm not so sure about the tranny. Russell-3L Hard-core CEG'er R Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 3,732 Pittsburgh, PA	i pulled mine from the top without removing any body panels take off y-pipe disconnect UIM coil vacuum hoses coolant lines (drain the coolant) disconnect wiring disconnect bracket that holds the pass side axle to the engine remove belt, disconnect ac and leave it off to the side jack up engine, remove motor mount, disconnect PS pump, leave off to the side also last but not least, unbolt engine from tranny and pull out Russell Oval Port 3L Nearly Done MTX75 w/ Homebrew Zetec FD and Torsen Complete
