I did it twice...both SVT's......they crash nicely..I walked away both times.
People suck.

I don't care whatanyone says about the Contour. I've smashed mine up really good on a few occasions. still going strong. I do feel very safe in this car.
Like I posted earlier, I'm glad to see your OK, physically anyway. Your insurance company said it was totalled for sure?

I bought mine totalled & the damage seemed way worse...
of course if the car has high miles & low book, it wouldn't take much for a total. I can't tell from the pictures if any body panels were shifted either, could be pretty nasty.

I'd say there is way more than $2000 damage to that car, which is what the KBB has for the going rate for a pre-98. Definently a total. If it was an SVT, probably not.
