There are 2 rubber bushings found in the transmission fender mount - the swiss-cheese top bushing, and the "doughnut" bushing that the bolt goes through that everyone seems to break.

My question is about this "doughnut" bushing - is it supposed to be under stress, ie. have weight on it all the time, because I am able to spin the "doughnut" freely on the shaft and it can move up and down as well. (Have fun with that one, pervs! ) I'm just wondering if it's finally time to replace the mount (The "round" holes in the "swiss-cheese" bushing are now oval). I have 115km on the 99 SVT. The roll restrictors were replaced earlier in the year.

I'm just wondering if this might be the source of the bucking I seem to be having at low speed, low load with clutch engaged, and maybe even some the the "clunkiness" in the front suspension. Thanks!
