OP reaper4tour_dup1 New CEG\'er R Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 18 Toronto	Well i guess its time to say goodbye.I have not posted much but learned a hell of alot from all you guys. .As i was driving to work on wed around 12:00 theres a two way road with a side street .I was driving down that road as i did for 3 years now same time everyday A Aerostar ran the stop sign from that side street and total my 1998 Ford Contour with all the f n work i did in that f n thing it take some assshole to go threw a f n stop sign and write it off. So the insurance said it was a write off,there was 13,000 in damage.The good news,the guy got charged from the cops with three things.I dont know what to do .I had it looking very nice and spent enough money in it(well it would be never enough). I had 3 wittness to tell the cop exactly what happen.I have the B.A.T pipe with k&n and the svt rims that i took off. Now on a positive note, if you still into Contours, they are always in the Auto Trader, some with very low mileage. I even found a 98 ATX at one point, with 14000kms, a Grandmother driven vehicle, all dealer invoices to prove maintenance too. What I am trying to get at, is that if you still wish to purchase another Contour, it won't be hard to find one, they are lots to choose from. Christopher A. OP reaper4tour_dup1 New CEG\'er R Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 18 Toronto	Well sorry to tell you guys but the upper intake was cracked or i would have traded it with my old one.The engine shifted and broke it along with the tanny.Well it goes to a prvite scrape yard for othere tours that get in a wreck they use the parts.There not really much left of it the whole pass side is gone and 1/4 of the hood was pushed in.Like i said all i have left is the B.A.T pipe with k&N off Chirs (CTA Thanks Chris for all your help with everything) and well the SVT rims(lucky i had my winter rims on).The insurance only gave me 1/2 h to get my stuff out because there tow truck was there.I asked if i could get some of the engine parts and they said they recycle it themself for them and them only.Sorry guys i tryed. Well i dont think i could drive anothere Contour as much as i want to.I went and try a svt focus but not me.But thanks you all for caring.
