how hard is it to replace a rear wheel bearing? Ive had a pulsating resonance noise for a few months. I'd been hoping it was due to my Kumho's wearing down, but... I got the car up in the air to inspect what running over a small boulder at 70mph does to a cougar and its camber (not happy things, let me tell you). With it in the air I spun the rear wheels for the F of it and noticed the passenger side one clicked continuously and felt like it was dragging more than the other side. My dad was in the garage with me and was like, "whats that noise?" from across the room . are there better than ford replacments i should know about? i've also read there are people who have had bearings replaced, then again 3 months later, then again 3 WEEKS later... then finally replacing the assembly they ride in and not having any more problems. is that the front? or rear?

the rears are VERY easy.
I can't recall the exact steps, but I remember I was surprised
how fast I finished without any struggle.

I have drum brakes, so I just had to pull the drum.
Might take a couple of minutes longer to remove the disc
assembly, if you have to.

As far as I know those are not replacable but rather are replaced with hubs alotgether. Kind of expensive, about 75 EUR (here)from SAP motorparts (UK), or about 90$ US (converted by eyeballing). The change, thus is not complicated but just expensive.

Here is the link to the SAP motorparts:
