Just a word to the wise - installed a Magnaflow 10425 yesterday, and although I knew it needed to be cut and welded in there, I didn't know that they would need to fabricate some pipe since the stock resonator has an offset inlet and outlet. And that will make it more expensive b/c it requires more work and add'l parts.

Now a question. I watched the guy 'test' if his welds were good enough by turning on the engine, raising it back up on the lift, and putting his hand around there to see if anything was coming out. But the car was at idle - is there any reason to believe that those welds were not good enough? Should I check it again after it has heated and cooled a few times? If so, is there a better way to check it than just with sticking your hand close to the welds?

Thanks,

Steven
