ok guys, next saturday, we need some serious muscle and tools. my clutch kit will be in on Wed. and I want to go mud riding on sunday......

so who can come over here next saturday and give us a hand?? if we have help it wouldn't take that long. at least 2 maybe 3 good muscle bound guys or we would settle for skinny ones if that's all we got to choose from....

so do we have any takers? Rich? Joe and Amanda? any body else around this area???? give us a holler...

Kim

I would, but I'm afraid if I flex too hard, I'll pull the engine apart. Too much muscle for the Honda, ya know? Oh, and I'm working 12 hour days every day for a week.

Damn Kim, I'm sure Hector and I are both wishing we could make it. Too bad it was on such short notice. Maybe we'll just send Amber down there, I think she seemed a little more energetic and stronger than us guys anyway!

Well guys, what is actually holding us up is some seriously rusted nuts on one of the flanges for the y-pipe on the exhaust. The truck came from Ill and I must say... You guys have a whole different bread of rust up there.

I am going to be making a trip over to Sears and Home Depot tomorrow afternoon and check into a few things. If we could just get these two nuts off, it will be fairly easy from there.

P.S. I got myself a pair of Mechanix Wear M-Pact gloves after dueling with this truck only twice!! I also have a pair for Kim on hold at Autozone.

yeah rust is a b!tch... took an hour and a 24oz framing hammer for me to get my original rotors off my car as in the ones ford put on it in 1996 this past summer... hector saw the shape the rotors were in after they met my hammer, I was worried I wasn't going to have anything left to hit to get them off.

Mechanics gloves are one of the greatest things to have, they save on blood loss.

thanks guys, but I need folks a little closer.
oh yeah, you ever heard of the borrow my husband club? well, lol Lori across the street from us thinks that she is in the club with flip. So I told her that if her boyfriend or whatever he is doesn't help me and flip that she cannot borrow my husband ever again. ohhhh that didn't sound right did it...... he works on her COMPUTER for her. so we got a little help. the guy is going to see if he can get an aircompessor and some kind of chisel(sp?) to help us out. but ya know the funny thing is that no one even close to us has said anything about helping out. even though we get phone calls needing help with their cars and their problems. its nice to know that we have good friends.

yeah that's right I said it, now what are you going to do about it....... is it because it is a honda or is it because it is not a contour???? I think ya know where I am going with this. yep I said it. yep I am upset. come on and make my day....
