Hello,
Newbie here trying to finally getting around to upgrading the factory "deviant/premium" sound system. I wanted to find out your thoughts on best mounting another DIN unit below the factory one. The car is a 98 MTX with the newer dash/centre console design where there are cupholders below and a whole bunch of open space. There is no ashtray, storage slot etc.
Are there brackets/casings that I can use?
Many thanks.

1. Its a dvd player that i had to run to my screens(but blew it a car show in april)
2. i used a fm modulator to transfer the dvd signal to fm signal and player it as a radio station.
3. I fabbed up a piece of plexiglass, took out the cig lighter ash tray and accessory tray and put the piece of plexi cover the whole area, then cut out a spot for the dvd player. no need for brackets, held up great on its own.
Any more questions?
p.s. sorry i had to
