I just put in the SVT Throttle Body into my 95 SE. When I go to start the car it instantly revs and starts to bounce off the rev limiter (ATX). Do you think that it might be the TPS is not getting a connection because I tried to just use my old stock one and use it on the new TB. I think it might be that the engine thinks the throttle is open when it is not and tries to rev because when I actually hit the throttle the car had a deeper, throatier sound to it. What do you think it wrong? And I don't think it is the cable because the cable is tight and when I hit the gas (car off) I can see the TB go from closed to all the way open even though it is the stock cable.

The throttle is either open or there is a major hole/leak between it and the UIM.

That is the only reason it would rev to redline.

The TPS only lets the PCM know where the "throttle" is "positioned".
Without air actually going into the UIM the engine would not race.

Demon SVT is right. The engine won't run that fast just from a tp sensor reading. It needs air and a lot of it to rev like that. Is the throttle stuck open? Pull the intake tube off and have a look at the throttle plate. It should be closed.
