watch out in up state CT. On my way home from school today in a matter of 1/8 mile there were two unmarked Camaros that had pulled people over
safe travel to everyone

About a month ago I saw one on 84 pulled someone over in front of me, scared the heck outa me.... I have also seen a Impala SS (the nice one  ) Black or navy with heavey tint and lights in back windows. Anyone know if they can use any kinda car they want? or is it restricted cars only?  Matt

speakin of gettin pulled over, i just got pulled over (not an unmarked car) yesterday for doin 47 in a 30 zone, but luckly he let me go with a warning. he told me that if he gave me the ticket it would of been $178. thank god he let me go, cant afford another ticket. i got one for smokin my tires, one for runnin a red (actually yellow) light, and another for doin 53 in a 30.

yesterday at work I drove through a traffic stop 3 times and had to wait in resultant traffic 3 times for about 10 minutes each. They were doing "seat belt" checks, but the officers got right in your face and sniffed loudly as they asked if you were having a good day. I politley remarked, the first time through, that I thought it was terrific that they were checking for folks wearing seat belts and checking for drunk drivers, but I asked how many drunk drivers they expected to find in the middle of a week day.
I called my boss and told him about the traffic situation and that it wasted 30 minutes of our time. He said he's going to send a letter and a bill to the chief of police for our time, $43.
It will be great if that bill gets paid.

Saw one on the way back from NYC yesterday on I-91 south of Hartford. It was a tan color and only the flashing headlights gave it away as it was going by me at triple digits.

I'm obviously not from CT, but i know the cops around here have Intrepids, brand new explorers, a Buick LeSabre (TOTAL sleeper) and i've even seen a Dodge Caravan with someone pulled over. Out in Colorado I've seen cops in Vettes... all those rich Aspenites paying exhorbitant property taxes!

watch out for a late model Buick Riviera I think it was. saw it on campus walking back from class today. it was a dark blue or possible black. side windows were heavily tinted but the back window wasn't tinted at all, you could see the red and blue lights in the back window
