Hey everyone. Guess Thanksgiving is a great holiday. Might be my new favorite now.

I went up to Transwest Auto Parts yesterday looking for a defroster grille for my 99 SE. I found a couple of 99 SVTs, hammered of course. I got the grille I needed, then noticed that one of the cars had its dual exhaust in perfect shape. Not much else was good on the car, but an exhaust is just what I needed.

This morning Colter and I set out bright and early to pick it up. It was a [censored] to fit in my car. We had to prop the trunk open, pop the seats down. The resonator was up in between the front seats. I think it looked like a rocket with two pipes sticking straight out the trunk. Must have been a site to see.

Only cost $100 though, plus another $100 to install it, get some misc. parts, and remove the resonator. Damn, it sounds good!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Good to hear, let me know if you happen to find a 1997 T-Red SE with SVT exhaust in a junkyard anywhere could probably find a 3.0L layin in it. Just wondering why it cost you $100 to put it in. I installed mine myself and just went and got a custom right hand side hanger installed. It's really not all that hard to do unless it was just balls cold out then i don't blame you.

Install only cost $35. He paid extra to remove the resonator and to buy new rubber hangers.

Scott-
Everyone here in Vegas loves the sound of the car.
They ask if I have a turbo installed (because of the whine from the intake) and they ask what mods I've done to the car(because of the deep exhaust note.)

Contour SVTs are quite popular down here.
People always know how awesome they are.
In Utah, people didn't have a clue what a SVT Contour was.
