A few weeks back, my car was broken into and the stereo was ripped out. Now, my speedo & tach don't light up, my dome & map lights don't come on, and my clock has no numbers. I tested the wires at the dimmer switch and there was no power.
What could be causing this stuff to not work? All the fuses are good. The door switches DO work cause the dinger dings when the doors open.

Did you put anything back into the radio slot?

No, There's no radio in there right now.

Is it possible the circut isn't completed? It would be like leaving the neg terminal off your battery.

The dimmer switch has to be working for your gauge cluster to illuminate. Look into fixing that problem, and check fuse 34.

The radio, clock, keyless, and interior lights run off two fuses but are all on the same circut somehow. I assume it's the ignition wire that's tied together with the others in the radio circut, hence my question about the radio being in there.

I wonder if Bill Jenkins or anyone who's had a car with no stereo knows if there's some kind of link for cars without the radio...?

I have no radio in there right now and everything works fine.

Well Blackie, this thread really helped me with my electrical problem. I know your's is different if fuses #32 and #34 are intact, but it is the same circut. Look for a bare wire in there touching metal. Electrical gremlins are a ***** to sort out.
