Had the brake fluid flushed and refilled - noticed a difference in the pressure needed to stop the car. The fluid was pretty dark. Also changed all 6 plugs to the autolites and added a set of stock wires.
Also performed the do-it-yourself air induction cleaning, by pulling the vaccume lines and feeding the chemicals through the two ports. The car never died (had someone idling it about 1500-2000) but produced lots of smoke and sputtered often. Cleaned the throttle body as best as I could.
With 127K on the odo, the car's running like silk. Alot better response especially at tip-in. Definately worth the time I spent.
Regarding the FMS 9mm wires - I bought a set and put them on. Had a devil of a time trying to route these, I bought several spacers and tried to rig them where it would work. Fired it up at night and could still see some arching where I guess they we're far enough apart. CE light stayed on all the way to the dealer (where I bought the stocks) The best I could do still looked like a rat's nest. So now I have an extra set 'just in case'.
